252Basics is our Sunday morning curriculum that provides a set of very application-rich tools to PARENTS for teaching kids Godly character and key Biblical principles throughout the week (at home, on the road, and at church).
Each month, we will focus on a different Christ-like Virtue with different Bible lessons and Bottom Lines each week to teach God's plan for that Virtue in a child's life.

SMALL GROUPS
Sundays at 8:15AM, 9:35AM, AND 11:00AM
We share with you the desire for your kids to have the right influences in their lives. A great influence in a child's life is to have mentors who love them and speak the same truths into their hearts as their parents. Each year we assign your child to a Small Group Leader and a small group of about 6-10 kids to build Godly relationships. Each Sunday morning during Sunday School, your child's small group will do fun games and activities that help teach them the Virture, Memory Verse and Bible lessons for the month. A few times throughout the year, small groups will have the opportunity through special events and get-togethers to build close relationships.
We encourage all Parents to get to know their child's Small Group Leader and to hopefully spend some time with them and the small group!

LARGE GROUP
Sundays at 8:15AM, 9:35AM, AND 11:00AM
Each Sunday morning during Sunday School, small groups go to the theatre with their leaders to hear Master Storytellers and Comic Hosts present the week's Bible lesson.
Our goal is to present the Bible in a creative, exciting way so that we capture the attention of the kids in relevant style. AND, the Bible IS truly......EXCITING!
The kids and their Small Group Leaders also get to PRAISE our Awesome God when the Praise Team comes up on stage and leads in Worship. This gives the kids a chance to learn to worship Jesus. By the way, our worship music ROCKS!

GODTIME CARDS AND FRIDGE DOORS
GodTime cards are a series of 4 Bible devotions that go along with the Sunday morning Bible lesson in Small Group and Large Group. The goal is for each child to take a few minutes 4 times per week to complete each devotion. These devotions teach kids how to have special daily Quiet Time with God (in His Word) and continue to reinforce and teach the lesson throughout the week.
ALERT! If parents show no interest in their own daily time with God and show no interest in influencing kids to complete these cards, their kids more than likely will NEVER ever spend this special time with God.
TIP: We have some parents that use this valuable tool throughout the week as a bedtime devotion for the whole family.
Fridge Door Cards are for you to put on your........ refrigerator door.... This card has the Bible Story for the week, the Bottom Line (main theme), and the Memory Verse. Use it as needed to review the lesson and practice the memory verse throughout the week.

FOR HEAVEN'S SAKE (JUMPSTART)

Our 252Basics curriculum gives us the opportunity to present the Plan of Salvation every 6-8 weeks to your kids in Sunday School. However, we also want to make it as easy as possible for you to present the Plan of Salvation at home as often as possible. One of the most rewarding experiences in a parent's life is leading his/her child to Christ.
In order to help parents make this possible, we provide the class For Heaven's Sake. For Heaven's Sake presents the message of Jesus Christ to the whole family so that parents can go home and talk about how to have a relationship with God with their kids.
This class is normally held the Sunday before a Baptism Sunday in Room 3220 at 9:35AM and 11:00AM. Please check the KidzTown Calendar or call the church office (919-556-3420) to find the schedule for the next class.
This class is open to all families. It is also a REQUIREMENT for kids going through the process preparing for Baptism.

POINTS BOOK AND KIDZTOWN EMPORIUM (STORE)
Parents and Small Group Leaders can utilize the KidzTown Store to motivate their kids to do their work throughout the year. We'll stock items in our store ranging from inexpensive candy (40 points) to more expensive toys like WebKinz (680 points). Kids can bring their points books with completed work to the store to redeem points for merchandise.
The store is open on Sunday mornings before and after all 3 services as well as on Wednesday nights before and after class.
