Global Missions

Our Mission Partners

Do you want to be a part of engaging the world for Christ through short-term mission trips? Faith has strategic partnerships with four missionary families located in various places around the world.  Our goal in partnering with these families is to strategically contribute to the furthering of the gospel in these regions through church planting.  Each of our partners are working to plant churches in areas of the world where there is little to no gospel witness. Each year we take participants on multiple mission trips to these locations to share the Good News of Jesus Christ. 

Vermont
We have partnered with Trey and Robyn Cates who are church planters in Northfield, VT.  Trey is the founding pastor of New Life Community Church.  Each summer we send a team to help the church with an outreach event such as a neighborhood carnival, or an Upward Soccer Camp.  This is a great opportunity for families to go on a mission trip together.
Upcoming Trips:  July 17-24, 2010 cost: $500 per person

Central America
Over the last several years we have formed a partnership with the church-planting/missions agency Good News in Action (GNIA).  GNIA is a ministry that is working to plant a church in every city in Central America that has a population over 1 million people, and is led by Steve and Pam Kern in San Salvador, El Salvador.  We take multiple trips each year to help the church planting efforts of GNIA.  These trips are very evangelistic in nature and are a great first time international trip for those interested in missions.

Destination TBD- November 5-12 2011 cost: $1600 per person

Netherlands
We have formed a partnership with Rob and Katy Darnell who are currently working in the city of Amsterdam.  The goal of this partnership is to work closely together for the next several years to see a church planted in the city of Amsterdam.  We will send several teams a year to work with the Darnells, and hope that we as a church can play an intergral part in planting an evangelistic church in this strategic world city.

Late March/Early April 2011 cost: $1800-$2000
July 2011 cost: $2000-$2300 

East Asia
We have partnered with a team in East Asia, to assist them in taking the gospel to a people group who have never heard of Jesus.  The country is officially "closed" to the gospel, but God is doing great things and we have seen several people come to know Christ as their savior.  On our trips to East Asia, we generally host an English camp, which in turn opens doors to sharing the gospel.

In addition to these mission trips to work alongside those we have partnered with, we will occassionally take additional trips as opportunity arises.  These trips might be to aid in disaster relief, or support our efforts to plant chruches in the United States.  If you would like more information about any mission trip that we do, contact Ben at (919) 556-3420 ext. 148.
