New Disciple Classes this Fall! Wednesday night adult discipleship begins on September 8. The five classes we will offer are: Financial Peace University, Marriage, How to Study the Bible, God's Heart for the Nations, and a Women's study on the life of David. Pray for the Nations -There are over 6,000 people-groups all around the world that are considered unreached, meaning there has been little or no response to the Gospel. Join us in praying for these people-groups. Visit www.unreachedoftheday.org to find out how to pray for these groups on a regular basis.
Missions Prayer Request - Pray for Team Haiti - We have a team that will be in Haiti from Aug 29-Sept.4. They will be building relief shelters and attempting to share the gospel with the various people they meet. Please remember the team and their efforts in your prayers.

Food Pantry – Please add peanut butter, rice, pasta and canned goods to your shopping cart each week and help us show the love of Christ to our community through the Food Pantry. Our next distribution date is Thursday, September 9, and we need lots of helping hands as we prepare bags of food to distribute to over 300 families. Bagging begins @ 1pm, and distribution begins @ 4pm.
Upward Basketball and Cheerleading registration begins Tuesday, September 7. Invite a friend, neighbor or any kid you know to join in the fun of Upward and discover what it takes to be a Winner in Christ. See the Engage Board regarding our “50 to get 5” approach to reach more kids and their families through Upward.
Love Our Schools Training - We will be conducting Good News Club (GNC) training on September 14 & 21 from 6:30 – 8:30pm in room 2123. If are interested in being part of one of our local school’s GNC, please contact Aubrey @ 556-3420.
Clothes Closet - Thanks for all the kids clothing. The Clothes Closet is closed for donations at this time. We will begin collecting coats in November. If you are interested in volunteering to help in the Clothes Closet on a regular basis, please contact Aubrey @ 556-3420.
