Core Classes are designed to increase your knowledge of God’s Word, key doctrines, and spiritual habits. These classes reflect the core of what every growing disciple should know as we are on mission to make disciples who know Christ, grow together, serve others, and go to our neighbors and the nations.
Proverbs - Answers for Real Life | Everyone is searching for answers to life’s big questions. Wouldn’t it be great if we could find real answers for practical living? The Pursuit of Holiness - Faith Women’s Core Class | “Be holy, for I am holy,” commands God to His people. But holiness is something that is often missed in the Christian’s daily life. That’s because we’re not exactly sure what our part in holiness is. In this classic, Jerry Bridges helps us see clearly just what we should rely on God to do - and where we need to accept responsibility. 1 & 2 Peter | Examine Peter’s call to stand firm in faith, resist false teaching, and live as a witness to the hope of the gospel in a fallen world. Through verse-by-verse study, participants will gain a stronger foundation in biblical doctrine and encouragement to live out their faith boldly. Baby Bootcamp | Having a baby soon? Led by experienced parents, this core class for first-time expectant parents equips participants with practical tools for the first year of parenthood. Learn about and discuss expectations for your child’s birth, feeding, sleeping habits, and more. Most importantly, learn biblical foundations for parenthood and set the direction for the future of your child’s discipleship. TAUGHT BY DR. BRYCE & KATIE HANTLA | CO-ED | FREE
When You Pray | Ladies, do you struggle thinking of words to say to God when you pray? Are you afraid some emotions are too intense to express to God? Do you reach the end of a day only to realize you haven’t prayed at all? You’re not alone. During this class, participants will study prayers from Scripture and watch video teachings from Lifeway authors in When You Pray. LED BY MEREDITH COOK | WOMEN | $15
Theology 201 | Continuing from last semester (new members are still welcome to join), Theology 201 will conclude with a series of lessons devoted to eschatology, the study of last things, like the return of Christ, the millennium, heaven, and hell. Mastering Your Money will discuss finances, budgeting, ethical issues, investing, estate planning, and more from a biblical perspective to guide class participants to be faithful stewards of all God has given each person.

Intro to Missions will explore the theological foundations of missions, learn about the challenges and opportunities in cross-cultural ministry, and engage with the history of missionary movements.

1 Corinthians: Victory in a Messy World will study Paul’s first letter to the Corinthians, which addresses issues we still face today like judging others, handling conflict, navigating marriage, and discovering the true purpose of our spiritual gifts.

Theology 201 is a practical discipleship course for everyday believers that continues Theology 101 (however, it is not a prerequisite). This class builds on core theological concepts and how they apply to daily Christian living.
